Google Ads Audit

A Google Ads Audit
That Costs $250

Most accounts are not losing money because the bidding is wrong. They are losing it because the data underneath the bidding is wrong, and the bidding is doing exactly what it was told. This finds out which one you have.

The Price

What Does a Google
Ads Audit Cost?

$250 on its own. The price is on this page because most pages selling a PPC audit will not tell you until you have taken a call.

Every audit on this page is credited in full against your first month if you start a retainer within 30 days of the report being delivered. The audit is how we both find out whether there is enough here to work on together. If there is, the audit costs you nothing. If there is not, you keep the report and owe nothing further.

Google Ads Audit

$250 one time

The account, the tracking underneath it, and where the budget goes.

  • Account and campaign structure
  • Search terms, and where budget is going to waste
  • Conversion tracking verified end to end, not assumed
  • Shopping and Performance Max feed health
  • Findings written in the order they are worth fixing
  • Requires read access to the Google Ads account

Google & Meta Ad Audit

$400 one time

Both platforms, plus the part neither audit can see on its own.

  • Everything in the Google Ads audit
  • Everything in the Facebook Ads audit
  • How both platforms are counting the same conversions
  • Requires read access to both accounts

Coverage

What an Ecommerce PPC Audit
Actually Looks At

Every finding carries the number behind it. Where something cannot be measured from read access alone, the audit says so rather than estimating it.

The tracking, before anything else

Conversions checked end to end against Google’s own documentation rather than taken on trust from a tag that fires. Double-counted conversions, conversions counted at the wrong step and imported goals nobody remembers setting are all common, and every one of them teaches the bidding to spend in the wrong direction.

Where the money actually goes

Search terms against keywords, and how much of the budget is buying branded clicks you were already winning for free. On most accounts that single line is the largest recoverable number in the audit.

The feed, treated as a budget

For Shopping and Performance Max the product feed decides what gets shown and therefore what gets spent. Most accounts have never looked at which products are absorbing the budget, or at the disapprovals quietly holding others back.

Structure, last rather than first

Campaign and ad group structure is where most audits start and where this one finishes, because restructuring an account that is feeding on bad data just moves the problem somewhere tidier.

The Offer

Why It Is Credited
Back in Full

The audit is not the business. Monthly management is. This is priced to start a conversation with owners who cannot justify a three thousand dollar audit and would otherwise never get a real one.

So the audit is how we both find out whether there is enough here to work on together. If there is, it comes off your first month in full and costs you nothing. If there is not, you keep the report and owe nothing further. Both outcomes are fine, which is the point of pricing it this way.

Questions

Questions About
Google Ads Audits

If yours is not here, ask it on the call.

What does a Google Ads audit cost?

$250 on its own, or $400 together with the Facebook Ads audit. The $1,500 full marketing audit adds SEO, three competitor teardowns and a walkthrough call. All of them are credited in full against your first month if you start a retainer within 30 days of the report being delivered.

What is an ecommerce PPC audit?

A read of the paid search account against what the store actually banked, rather than against what the platform reports about itself. On an ecommerce account that means three things a general PPC audit tends to skip: whether the product feed is deciding where budget goes, whether Shopping and Performance Max are absorbing spend on products that do not convert, and whether the conversion values being sent back are revenue or something approximating it.

Is a free PPC audit not just as good?

A free audit is a sales document, and it is written to produce a meeting. That does not make it worthless, but it does mean the findings are selected for what is easiest to sell against rather than for what is costing you most. Paying a small amount changes what the document is for.

What access do you need?

Read access to the Google Ads account, and to Merchant Center if you run Shopping or Performance Max. Read access only, and it can be revoked the moment the audit is delivered.

Will you tell me to spend more?

Only if the account can carry it, and the audit shows the working either way. Several of the most common findings reduce spend rather than increase it, because branded traffic and wasted search terms are usually the first things to come out.

Do you audit accounts you did not build?

That is the normal case. Most of these are accounts somebody else built, often years ago, where nobody currently in the business knows why it is set up the way it is.

What happens if I do not want to continue?

You keep the report and owe nothing further. It is written so that you could hand it to another consultant, or to whoever runs the account now, and they would know what to do with it.
